Word plugin: Convert dynamic to static citations
Hello all,
I've successfully created a paper manuscript with a bibliography with help of zotero. Now I'd like to finalize the manuscript to submit it to a scientific journal. To do this I need to convert all dynamic references (stored as fields in MS Word) to normal text, i.e. to static references. The same goes for the bibliography.
Is there anyway to do this? It's crucial, since the journal doesn't accept Word documents with embedded dynamic citations.
Appreciating any help,
Andy

It's actually an MS Word feature named "unlink a field". All you have to do is to select a field (e.g. a reference) and press CTRL+SHIFT+F9. Alternatively one can select all (CTRL+A) and then unlink all fields with CTRL+SHIFT+F9.

If for whatever reason you don't want to use that, The equivalent of the above on Mac is Cmd+Shift+F9
