Is there a way to have an "alias" collection in a group?
I have two groups, which I would like to remain private (from all as well as one another).
In one group, say Group A, I have a collection, say A1. Is it possible to create an alias collection B1 in Group B that is collection A1 in Group A so that I do not have to duplicate entries?
Is it possible to have an "alias" reference in the collection A1 that I can put into collection B1? If this had a pdf attached to it, would this reduce the # of pdfs I have on the server?
If I can do either of these two aliasing mechanisms, how?
Thank you.
Miriam

adamsmithno, that's not currently possible.

avatarmhThanks.

sagearborI believe this is now done, just by dragging items from one collection to another. Note - this does not apply to shared groups, when you copy something from your library to a shared group it is a one time copy, so for example items added, or pdfs highlighted will not be updated in the other location.

adamsmithcorrect, within a library this has always worked this way. The original question was across groups, though, where this is still not possible.
