Collections unavailable

I don't have access to the Collections on my computer anymore (three days). Is there a display button or command that i may have turned on or off by error? Using Firefox as always. Thanks.

It could be that the left pane (collections and tags) has been collapsed. If so, there will be a small dotted line between to black triangles. Click on that line (yes, it is rather narrow) and the pane should return. You can also place the cursor on it and get a double arrow and drag it to re-open the pane.

@adamsmith or whomever, is this in the documentation? I made a quick look, but couldn't find it in order to post a link.

Edit: Dejá vu all over again. I found this link https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/26696/panel-view-of-zotero/#Item_2 where I answered the same question, then asked about documention. I was invited to add a KB article, but never got around to it. Sorry. I'll try and get that done. But it's only been 3 years! :) )

We're thinking of how to make the collapsed panes more obvious. Simple things like this should really not require documentation. See https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/46734/editing-items-and-inputting-item-data/

I do see the left pane with the super collection "Ma bibliothèque" in it (I'm working in France) and a "flèche" or arrow symbol. Clicking on the symbol doesn't toggle open collections however.

Do you see Trash displayed in that pane?

I don't see any Trashcan icon, only "Ma bibliothèque".

I assume you've tried restarting Zotero as well as your computer. Can you submit an error report? https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems#provide_a_report_id

Also, submit a Debug log for an attempt to expand the collections (i.e. clicking on the arrow). https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output

Either restarting computer or closing then reopening Firefox resolved the problem. I should of though of trying it. Sorry to bother you.
