MHRA remove URL in Citations

Hi there,

I would like to know what i need to remove/alter in the CSL to prevent the URL from library catalogues transferring to footnotes and bibliography please. Our insitution does not want it and I am trying to convince them to use Zotero over Endnote.

  • Do you have an example? In general, library catalog URLs should never even be part of Zotero items, so the problem would be one of import rather than the citation style.
  • Thanks for getting back so quickly. Here is an example from out institution catalogue

Tosh, John, The Pursuit of History: Aims, Methods and New Directions in the Study of Modern History, 3rd ed. (Harlow: Longman, 1999) <http://capitadiscovery.co.uk/southwales-ac/items/199048>; [accessed 12 December 2014]

    Thanks

  • yeah, the problem is that the URL is in the export data from the library catalog (both in RIS and in Refer/Bibix). Ideally they'd fix that on their end. It's not bibliographic data and it shouldn't be there.
