RIS import buggy in 1.5

I exported a library from Endnote as RIS, about 300 items. On import to Zotero 1.5-sync3.2, I get:

Error: trim: argument must be a string
Source File: file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/goldin/Application%20Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/xnh4u3kl.default/zotero/translators/RIS.js
Line: 0
  • Could you send the RIS file (or a portion of it that fails) to support@zot....org? Thanks.
  • I'd like to try to debug this myself, but I'm not sure where to start. There's no 'trim' call in RIS.js.
  • It's a data layer bug, not a bug in the RIS translator. You'll need to narrow the RIS file down to a single entry that fails.
  • It looks like this entry causes an error:

    TY - RPT
AU - Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology
    PY - 2006
TI - Criteria for Accrediting Engineering Programs
    CY - Baltimore, MD

  • Thanks. This has been fixed already on the trunk, and the fix will be included in SP3.3, which will be out later today.
  • Yup, fixed in SP3.3
