Upgrade StorageZotero browser extension incompatible with Firefox 10.0.4?
Hi,
I just recently successfully installed Zotero standalone on my new work computer (Windows). However I am not able to install the browser extension for Firefox - following download I get the error message "this extension is not compatible with Firefox version 10.0.4". I think it should be, since I'm using the newest download link on the Zotero homepage? I also get the same message if I try to install Zotero 4.0 for Firefox. Any suggestions?

arggemFirefox 10.0.4 is pretty old. Try updating to the current Firefox (32.0.3)

dstillmanFirefox 10.0.0.4 is ancient, actually — it was released in early 2012 — and likely contains security vulnerabilities. If your IT department controls software upgrades and doesn't want to keep up with every Firefox release, they need to at least install the latest Firefox Extended Support Release version, which is currently 31.

serantalThanks, problem solved! I normally use Safari/Mac, so had no idea and just assumed Firefox would be up to date. Works perfectly now. Thanks for the quick responses.
