wsj.com compatability issues

Responding to a post elsewhere (and copied below) from adamsmith on wsj.com compatabiity issues.

When I follow the link provided by adamsmith Zotero works fine. The item shows as a newspaper article and saves to my library correctly. When I go to any other article on wsj.com, whether logged in as a subscriber or not, the item shows as a Zotero web page and saves only as such, missing meta info on author, date, etc. E.g.,

http://online.wsj.com/articles/american-detained-in-north-korea-to-face-trial-next-sunday-1410053845?mod=World_newsreel_2&cb=logged0.21628806838913428

Thank you.

From adamsmith:

any WSJ issues are entirely separate (Factiva and WSJ have nothing to do with each other except their parent company, which doesn't influence website design). Post to a different thread with anything WSJ related, though in general Zotero works for me on wsj.com e.g.

  • OK, should be working now,
Your version of Zotero will automatically update within 24hs, or you can update manually using the "Update Now" button in the "General" tab of the Zotero preferences. If you're using Standalone, restart Zotero and your browser after updating.

Any further problems let us know & thanks for reporting
  • Just used Zotero with WSJ and all's well. Thanks for the help.
