Safe to use sync preview

Me and a colleague are considering to use the sync preview to be able to work on our book from home. We'll start writing next week, and I was wondering whether a) the sync preview is stable enough for this, or b) when does the next stable version of zotero come out?

Tnx
  • I've had good luck with it... I'd say just be smart about it...

    1. Start using it on a copy of your zotero folder, not your original.
    2. Export the data as an rdf every now and then...
    3. Export in something else common rarely - maybe bibtex.

If you do that, then I would guess it won't really matter what sorts of problems you run into - you could easily switch backwards at any time.

Lastly, be aware that somethings don't work with sync-preview. For example, I think the word plugin doesn't work yet.

    The Word plugin should work.
  • Thanks Dan - I never noticed the version there... I had always been going to the plugins list. Glad to see that.
