Restarted the computer, and have tried the link as well, getting an error console.

The lack of a proper error message here is a bug that's been fixed for the next version, but this occurs when Zotero can't find the Zotero data directory in its configured location.

it is working when I switched back to the "Use Profile directory".
why can not work when I customize the data directory location?

Either because the custom data directory is no longer where it was — you can try setting it again — or because there's a problem with it, such as security software interfering with Zotero's ability to write to it.
