icon greyed out but working on Amazon pages

I have used Zotero for some research. It was working perfectly. But today the icon suddenly greyed out, although the Amazon pages were an exemption. I was wondering what could be the problem?

    Which icon, and what do you mean by "exemption"?

    Weird! The icon works on Yahoo front page, but on others. Some one helps??

    see if this helps to make sense of what you're seeing:

    For pages with a greyed out item (I'm assuming you're using Safari) right-click (ctrl+click) anywhere in the page and select "save as Zotero snapshot"

    Thanks Smith, I was browsing academic journals online. When I open a specific article, the icon does work. But I was hoping that it would allow me to save from a list of articles... Thank you anyway, it's already a big progress

    it should on most pages (google scholar, JSTOR, pubmed, Wiley, Springer, Sciencedirect, e.g.). Which specifically are you looking at?
