No add button for Tags and Related tabs

I have no add button for Tags and Related tabs
so that I cannot add tags or link related items.
On the other hand,I have the add button for the notes
and attachments tabs
My version:Zotero 1.0.7
Firefox 2.0.0.16
Windows XP Pro
I have also installed Scaffold 1.0.2

    Can you try disabeling your other Firefox extensions, and for a variety of different reasons it is probably also a good idea to upgrade to Firefox 3.

    restarted Firefox but the problem is still there

    I think that I have solved my problem.
    I have not just disabled but completely
    uninstalled the Scaffold plugin for Zotero and
    now I have the missing buttons.

    Did you do anything else at the same time? Does reinstalling Scaffold bring the problem back?

    No,I did not do anything else:I just uninstalled
    Scaffold (but of course all my other plugins except
    Zotero were disabled).It solved the problem of the
    missing buttons.I then reenabled all the disabled
    plugins and still had the buttons.
    Finally,I have just reinstalled Scaffold and everything
    is fine.
    So I don't know why it didn't work the first time

    Hi,

    I had similar problem with missing tabs,
    SOLVED after uninstalling Ling.pl plugins (some plugins from Ling.pl Polish dictionary service).

    kosa: I suspect that, as in bearfox's case above, you could reinstall the Ling.pl extensions and the problem would not reoccur. This appears to be some sort of Firefox bug with chrome registration and likely has nothing to do with the individual extensions involved.

    If it reoccurred every time you installed a particular extension, we'd definitely want to know, though.

    I am having a similar problem. I do not see icons to let me add tags, etc. And do not get the box with tabs for Info, Notes, etc. You say that it might be a problem with Chrome registration. How do I disable that to test?

    All the information we have on this is above. Try disabling/uninstalling/reinstalling your other extensions.
