Switch off file download wehen using bookmarklet

Hi,

when I save an item to my zotero database using the bookmarklet the PDF and a snapshot are saved as well. How can I stop the bookmarklet doing that? In general I only want to save the metadata.

    If you're downloading to Zotero standalone, you can turn off the PDF attachment in the general tab of the preferences.
    If you're downloading directly to the server (say, from a mobile device) you can't affect that behavior.

    Thanks for the explanation - I'm indeed using it on an ipad.

    yeah - the fact that you don't really have much control over import via bookmarklet (e.g. also can't pick a collection) is a problem.
    Not sure if devs have plans to improve this
