Changing citation style overwrites/deletes text in MS Word
When I change the citation style, sometimes several sentences have been deleted from my document. It's always sentences or words immediately preceeding an in-text citation, but otherwise there's no apparent logic as to when and where this happens. What on earth is going on?

adamsmithThe reason this would happen if somehow the text preceding the citation has been grouped with the citation. Do you see citations appearing with a grey shade behind them? That should help you avoid this. It's a Word setting (something like "Highlight Fields")

StinusThat must have been what happened. Thanks for the tip about highlighting fields!
