Zotero on a tablet

Hi,

I am planning to buy a tablet and then to buy a keyboard that can be attached. Now, having a word processor and zotero is crucial for my work.

So, the first question would be is it even possible to use zotero on some tablet?

If I buy Microsoft's Surface in order to use Word, is it possible to integrate zotero there?

You won't have word processor integration on a "normal" tablet - i.e. not on an iPad, Android tablet, or Surface RT.
The Surface also comes with Windows 8 (in a pricier and I believe slightly heavier version) - in that case it is a regular PC that will run Zotero.

I find the online version of Zotero is quite workable on a tablet for looking up and manipulating existing records. If you use the zotero server to save attachments, the online version also gives you direct access to them. The bookmarklet makes it possible to save new citations, though it's a little clunky. The only thing you'd have to go back to a true PC for is word processor integration.
