sync splitting (PDF/pictures)

After thumbing through the forum without finding anything alike I decided to open the discussion myself.

Sync splitting:
if you have an entry this entry would not be synced just like it is but you could decide whether you want your whole entry to be synced or just the text without the attached PDF or picture/photography with a checkbox per item.

    Why would you need that kind of feature?

    I'd figure because you don't want large items (e.g. scans) to take up a lot of sync space. My recommendation would be to not store those items in zotero, and to use "Link to File". Linked files aren't synced, so you'd get the desired result.
    I highly doubt that individual file sync settings will ever happen.
