Sync failure

Howdy,

I'm using Zotero from svn, had been having good luck until recently.

I've tried fresh profiles, but Zotero fails to sync with the server, and
a previously working instance is coming up with no entries in the
library.

I'm not sure how to report it correctly. I can see error messages when
I mouseover
the sync icon, but haven't discovered how to capture them.

zotero.debug.log is true
zotero.debug.level is 10
I see that extensions/zotero/zotero.sqlite-journal is a binary file, seems odd,
is there a log file I can read somewhere?

Suggestions?

Thanks,
Kent

Select Report Errors under the Actions (gear icon) menu, and then post the Report ID it gives you here.
  • Report ID = 731171008

    Cool reporting tool!
  • Attachment data not found for item 1 in getFile()
Do you see an attachment item in your library with a blank white icon and no associated file? If so, delete it (and, if you remember, let us know where it came from).
  • A couple machines are syncing ok. On the one which gave the error I've been shuffling profiles trying to get a clean download. I seem to have deleted the profile which sourced the error.
  • ok, here's the error from a clean profile, first sync attempt.

Same thing? look for blank white icon?

  • Nope. That was a recently introduced glitch on the trunk, now fixed.
  • Bingo.
A new profile now syncs just fine.

  • Greetings,

I tried to download the Zotero Sync to a test profile I had created in Firefox.
It seems to download fine. Then I am told that it needs to configure with
the latest version of Zotero. While doing this, an error message occurs, which
    disables Zotero.

    This is the info.-
    Error number: 1961087795
TypeError: oldIDs.map is not a function

I am using a PC with Windows XP.

Would you please advise me further?
    Thanks,
