Is there a convenient way to import styles from EndNote or Reference Manager styles? Both are generally provided by the Elsevier journals that I use.

I don't think that there is any way to convert RM or EndNote styles to CSL styles. Because those styles are proprietary and owned by Thomson Reuters, I have doubts that a conversion utility will be possible. But I'm strictly an observer here. Someone could be working on this independently. However, there has been much wishful thinking on this forum and on Mendeley, Papers, and Sente forums as well.

We chatted about how impact factors are influenced by accurate citations and I pointed out that there is research that shows that inferior references will be cited if it is inconvenient to cite the better references. They also said that Elsevier is doing very focused work to improve their product's metadata and the ease of importing good metadata to authors' computers so that it can be used for manuscripts submitted to other publishers journals.
