safari want to safe page only takes snapshot

hi everybody,

the title basically tells it all. I am running Version 4.0.8 on mac osx 10.8.4. I got the connector for safari installed (4.0.8). For the most part it seems to run fine. But there are webpages, where that little Zotero button is greyed out. Under firefox, I'd just right click and add the page to zotero (not as a snapshot though). When that button isn't greyed out, it sometimes only takes a snapshot, which isn't really good for anything. Is here a way around it? If not, even though is almost eats all my ram, i got to go back to firefox.

    note sure I understand you here. Right-click --> Take Snapshot in Safari does exactly the same as Right-click --> Zotero-->Create Web Page Item in Firefox.

    oh it is the same? if so then my question is answered. Whats the secret with the little button in the toolbar, on some pages, like "zeit.de" i can use it and it lets me choose the article i want, on the "newyorktimes" it is geyed out.

    when the button works/is active you should use it - it gets better data. The right click version only gets a bare minimum.
    Indvidual articles and searches on nytimes.com should work, just not the front page.
