Upgrade Storage"Save Link As Zotero Item" doesn't place PDFs in the active collection
When I'm saving items into Zotero, I typically keep it open to a particular collection. Zotero will save the items into that collection, and it's easy to stay organized.
I found recently that this doesn't happen when saving the target of a link to Zotero using the context menu ("Save Link As Zotero Item"), if the target is a PDF. Instead the root collection ("My Library") becomes active, and I see the item placed there.
As a reproducible example: from http://www.data.gov/whats-new, using "Save Link as Zotero Item" with the starred links to PDFs under "Additional Information" resets Zotero's active collection to My Library and places the PDF there. For links to non-PDF resources, I see the expected behavior: an item created from the link appears in the active collection.
Does this happen for others?

adamsmithare you sure the items isn't actually saved to the collection? The fact that Zotero switches back to the library view is a known issue, but the item should still be saved to the collection you had selected (and does for me).
