Best,

  • A recent fix to the SSRN translator should have resloved your issue. The paper you linked too now works just fine for me. Your copy of Zotero should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Now in the General pane of the Zotero prefs.
  • I'm also having an SSRN problem. I'm definitely signed in, but when I try to add an article (say from here: http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=458700 ) it only adds a "snapshot" and doesn't download the full PDF. In the past, it's worked, so this is frustrating.

    eudinaesis,

There is a known problem with the SSRN translator that we're working on. I just tried the link you posted and I was able to get the citation just fine.

If you have not already, please try the following troubleshooting steps. http://www.zotero.org/documentation/troubleshooting_translator_issues
  • @acrymble - eudinaesis' problem concerns the pdf - which I can confirm isn't downloaded for any SSRN site. The SSRN site structure has changed (the links used to be on the bottom of the page, now you have tok look for download locations), I'd guess that's the problem in terms of getting the full article.

On a more general note (and unrelated to eudinaesis' issue) one of the FF addons that makes SSRN malfunction is the torbutton
  • Just posting to say that the problem is still there. Has anyone identified what's causing it?
  • *bump* ... Just noting again that this problem is still there. PDFs won't save. It's not a huge deal, but it would be nice if they did.
