types not apearing in address bar

Zotero is not recognizing content automatically. Where ever I am, the address bar just shows a white star (Book mark this page). Am I doing something wrong , or do I need to change a setting somewhere?

    Can you post examples of URLs that aren't working? Do you get an icon on a BBC News article or an Amazon product page?

    If not, try the Reset Translators and Styles button in the Advanced pane of the Zotero prefs.
