Error while trying to generate a bibliography

Report ID:1818411526

Hello,
I exported my references from reference manager to Zotero since I have changed from a Sony to a Mc. However, I cannot generate any bibliographies from Zotero. When I click/control, then Zotero preferences, I have errors all the time and I cannot do anything. I have generated a report ID (Report ID:1818411526) and I would greatly appreciate your help because right now I am stuck and do not know what to do.
Many thanks!
  • It says cannot find standalone... what should I do? Many thanks
  • Can you be more descriptive about what you are doing and provide the full error message?

    Many thanks for your response.
I go to my library, select a reference, click right and select zotero preferences and a screen of error appears saying:

    Zotero standalone is currently unavailable

    then

Java script errors: "undefined"is not an object
Java script errors: "undefined"is not an object
Java script errors: "undefined"is not an object
Java script errors: "undefined"is not an object

When I open Zotero in firefox, I do not have the option of zotero preferences.

Your advice would be much appreciated!
    Many thanks
  • It sounds like you're using the website? If you want to create bibliographies, at the moment, you need to install and use Zotero Standalone.

  • ramani231: See if my response at http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/24279/this-entry-does-not-exist-in-your-database-any-more/#Item_2 clarifies things for you. If it doesn't, start a new thread.
