Zotero - Can't Find PDFs

The Zotero docs (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data) say that my attachments are stored in a "storage" subdirectory of the data folder. However, on both OSX and Linux I'm not seeing any storage folder.

Did this change at some point?

*edit* Never mind, it was in the zotero subdirectory of the listed directory. Too bad everything is organized by has.

    no, that page is up to date.
    If you have pdfs stored in Zotero that's where they are. Note that Zotero also allows you to link to files - in which case they'd be wherever you put them.

    The storage folder gets created when the first attachment is placed into it, so it doesn't exist for an empty installation.

    you can use a saved search to create a folder with all your pdfs in both linux and ubuntu.

    You can also look at the Zotfile plugin if you prefer a different organization.
