Debug ID D1390124043

Dear Troubleshooting-Team,

i got the following Debug ID D1390124043. Could you please help me.
Thanks a lot.
  • Please describe the problem and provide steps to reproduce:

    http://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_bugs

(see especially item 3 in the list)
  • I use Zotero 3.0.3 for Firefox and Standalone is installed as well. OpenOffice.org 3.3 and Firefox 12.0 with Windows 7 64bit. I updated Java: Version 6 Update 32.

I can't install the Zotero_OpenOffice_Integration.oxt, because there always occure an error:

    8.0\zoteroWinWordIntegration.dll': (80520012) <unknown; can't get error from NSPR>

[JavaScript Error: "[Exception... "'unopkg at C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenOffice.org 3\program\unopkg.exe failed to install' when calling method: [nsIObserver::observe]" nsresult: "0x8057001e (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]"]

If I try to install the extension in OpenOffice, I always get the message: "Could not create Java implement loader".

I tried to switch off/on the Java runtime environment, close OpenOffice, try again, shut down of Windows and so on.... nothing worked. This is really annoying and I don't know how to do it.
  • Hope someone can help me... @fbenett: Thanks for the quick answer.
  • I may have to say, that there were the Zotero-signs in OOo but I could not do anything with it... i clicked all buttons, but there was nothing. I tried all these things and now there are no Zotero-symbols anymore in OOo... I don't know.
  • I would start by installing LibreOffice - OpenOffice is basically dead and two versions behind LibreOffice and has accumulated a large number of unfixed bugs.
Then, I don't understand why you're even trying to install the .oxt - the way to install the LibreOffice/Ooo plugin is through the Firefox add-on.
