Can’t copy the in text citation to Pages 09’ on y Mac using shortcut

hi guys,

like the header sas, I can’t copy the in text citations over, using the keyboard shortcuts. I’ve tried changing the preferences, then close the browser, reopen it and it still doesn’t work. I have the current version of zotero, and also the stand alone version. It doesn’t work on either of them. Please help!!!
  • can you copy them to anywhere else - say, here into the forum or into TextEdit?
If yes, this doesn't sound like a Zotero problem.
If not, what exactly are you doing? What exactly does "can't" mean here? Nothing at all? Wrong format? Can you drag and drop them?
  • No, I can’t copy them to anywhere, i’ve tried to the text edit application on my mac, didn’t work when i just tried to copy it to here. Sorry clarification, it does the bibliography references, but not the in text referencing. When i try to paste the in text referencing, nothing appears anywhere in any application.
  • does drag&drop while holding shift work?
Have you tried different citation styles selected in quick copy?
  • drag&drop with shift works, i’d only tried it without shift. Thanks! Is there any other shortcuts i could use?
  • The shortcut given in the shortcut pane of the preferences should work - what are you using exactly?
  • I have been trying to use Command - Shift - A however, firefox opens its addons page when i use that.

Zotero intercepts keyboard shortcuts when the Zotero pane has focus, so you shouldn't be getting the add-ons page if you have an item in the middle pane selected.
