How to exihibit "contributor" in reference (book item type) ?
Hi,
I am dealing with the style "Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT)".
In item type "book", besides "author" and "editor", just "translator" are being exhibited in references. I would like to exhibited the "contributor", attaching the same structure as "translator", but setting as default a specific Portuguese word "Contribuição". E.g.:
SCOTT, P. Text 1. Contribuição Johns Williams. Place: Editor, 2009.
Thanks in advance,
Cadu

In what types of situation would a contribução be cited?
I was expecting that field "contributor" could behavior similarly the field "translator" (just a matter of using CSL code, once the structure of both are the same, just changing "Tradução" by "Colaboração"). So, why does "contributor" field exist if it can't be used? Shouldn't this field be available to be used when inserting bibliography?
But I still don't understand when this is used - could you give a more explicit example - what do contributors do exactly? Do they write separate chapters? Are they research assistants?

The book is about the use of ABNT style in Brazil and was written by two of the great specialist on the subject. Besides, there are two "contributors" (colaboração) of people who help in some way. They could be research assistant, intellectual consultants or writers of a very specific part of the text and so on.
There are "with" type of authors in English that are sometimes cited, so a solution to also fit them would be nice.
Even though, I could implement almost all ABNT current rules through CSL and Zotero is really impressive!
Best!
