New Type: "Online News Article"

Something that would be really helpful would be a type called "Online News Article". We have Newpaper Article, Magazine Article, and Journal Article. But sites such as AlterNet, which are collections of new articles are not Newspapers, Magazines, nor Journals. And there are a lot of sites like that out there, news sites that have no printed form.

    What would such an item require that the "web page" item does not?

    actually it depends and that's the reason we're not doing this. For me, for example, Slate (in the US) or Spiegel Online (in Germany) are magazines, even though they're online only. By adding a URL and not having page-numbers, Zotero/CSL already treat them differently from a paper-magazine article. Things like a blogpost or a piece posted to a personal webpage are clearly websites.
    So Zotero can already make rather fine distinctions between different online and print publications. There is no need for a new item type.
