Problem with MacWord integration

This error arose suddenly today -- no obvious trigger. I'm running Firefox 8.0 under Lion. I previously had Zotero integration set up for Word (Office 2011) and NeoOffice.

"Installation could not be completed because an error occurred. Please ensure that Microsoft Word is closed, and then restart Firefox."

This happens even when Word is not running. I submitted an error report and it was assigned this number:

    Oops, found the suggestion about checking PythonExt. Somehow it had gotten disabled (?) Enabling it and restarting Firefox seems to have taken care of the Word integration issue.
