3.0 speed question

I'm having some speed issues with Zotero 3.0b2 and Firefox 7.0.1 on my netbook. It's not a super fast machine, but the upgrade to Firefox 4 really sped things up appreciably all the same, which was terrific. Now it feels like performance has gone back to what it was before that. It seems to be much slower than 2.1.1 when dealing with tags, in particular, both in the browswer and stand-alone. Is there anything I could do about it? Is it something that might improve? I really like 3, but I want to keep using this machine. I have the tag window closed, btw.

3.0 should be faster in a lot of places, including for some tag-related operations. Could you be more specific?

You can also provide a Debug ID for a slow operation. The debug output includes timing information that we can look at.
