It really looks like you need to implement a way for people to delete their own accounts. Doesn't seem like it should be that hard.

@fcheslack and other admins: Is there really no other solution yet for deleting an account other than posting it onto the forum? In case the reason for this is still the one you mentioned on April 5th, 2010: Some forums resolve this issue by things like "deleted_user wrote:"
Wouldn't that be possible for zotero as well?
