New To Zotero Questions
Hello! I'm new to using Zotero. I searched the forums but there is so much information and I'm not quite finding what I'm looking for. I have a few questions.
1) Am I correct in assuming that PDF's imported are duplicated? So if I import a PDF from my desktop, Zotero makes a 'copy' of the actual PDF in my Zotero folder? If yes, then it would make sense to delete the original as it would quickly consume double the hard drive space?
2) Do you use the default folder system for your library or make one that is shared by different apps?
3) Do you use different apps with Zotero for different functions? For instance, I notice there are plugins for Obsidian, or using an external PDF Editor for Annotations. If so, what is your set up and can you recommend any good or free software to use with it to enhance it? I'd rather set up to use a professional set up from the beginning than start a way of doing things and have to change it later.
Thanks for any advice.

dstillman1) Yes. But generally you would save items from the web, not add downloaded PDFs manually.
