Having to hand type every component of citation

Hi, I previously used another reference management tool which automatically filled in citation fields when I uploaded a file. Unfortunately, none of the files I uploaded auto-filled citation information and I am having to hand type everything - title, author(s), journal title, volume#, date, etc.

Is this normal? Is there something I can do to auto-fill this?

No, not normal. Journal articles from publisher websites and from online databases can be imported with one-click.

Please provide URL examples of journal articles that you can't import.
