Issue report: APA 7th style not respecting pages notation
Hello,
I noticed that there are two errors in APA 7th style when using in-text citations : it should always show "p." for single page and "pp." for several pages, whether they are separated with "-" or with ",".
1. In English :
- It shows "pp." when I specify page numbers in "1-99" format (pages 1 to 99), which is correct.
- It shows "p." when I specify page numbers in "1,99" format (pages 1 and 99). I should show "pp."
2. In French : it always shows "p." when I enter several pages, whether they are separated with "-" or with ",".
Here are the APA references about this :
- English : https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/citations/quotations/page-numbers
- French : https://cdn.scribbr.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Manuel-APA-de-Scribbr-7eme-edition.pdf (p. 27)
Thank you !
K.
