Personal library vs. group library

Sometimes when I'm uploading things to my personal library, I can't drag them into the group library, and vice versa. Is there any easy way around this?

    I lost my Zotero library because my computer crashed. Fortunately I had a backup and am trying to restore. In the backup I have Storage Directory and the sqlite backup zotero.sqlite. I use Firefox and how do i restore this?

    Laura - please provide more details. In general this should work, although it's not possible to drag entire collections. So try to figure out how this may be replicated - what determines the "sometimes"?
