Zotero no longer working in Goole Docs on Chrome

Hello,

I don't know what triggered this, but as of a few days ago when I have a doc open nothing happens when I press the Zotero button in the menu bar. A tiny white bar shows up at the bottom left of the button as if a drop-down menu is trying to show up, but there is nothing there to select.

I removed the Zotero Connector extension and added it back, I have "Enable Google Docs Integration v2 (NEW)" selected in Advanced Options, I've updated Chrome. I've tried it on docs that have citations, old docs that don't have citations, and on new docs. I have the Zotero app open while trying to do all of this. I'm not sure what else to try to troubleshoot. Currently writing my thesis and this is the worst time for it to stop working! Any ideas?

MacOS Monterey v 12.5.1
Chrome v 105.0.5195.102 (Official Build) (x86_64)
Zotero Connector v 5.0.97
Zotero v 6.0.13
