Upgrade StorageMS Edge Read Aloud PDF at Zotero.org

I'm trying out MS Edge's read aloud feature (CTRL + SHIFT + U). It will read from the cursor on a normal page. When I view a PDF in Zotero via the web browser, the reader doesn't respect the selection/cursor location. Instead, it reads from the top left and doesn't allow for intervention / adjustment. Is there a workaround? Known issue?
