Zotero for Word 365 (online)

I thought I'd seen a way to use Zotero with the online version of Word (Office 365), but I'm not able to find instructions for setting that up now that I want it. Is that a thing?

You can use Zotero with the installed version of Office 365 and with a Word document on OneDrive/Sharepoint, but no, you can't use it with Word online.
Zotero devs mention in a thread that they've talked to MS about changes that'd make that possible, but no idea where any of that stands. I wouldn't expect it any time very soon.
