Upgrade StorageZotfile not working?
Dear,
I am a medical student, who just switched from Mendeley desktop to Zotero.
I would like to use Zotfile as I have a huge amount of attachments which take up too much storage for normal Zotero Syncing.
If I understood correctly the article info is stored in Zotero sync and a link to the attachment. The attachment itself can be stored in dropbox.
Zotfile can move & rename the file.
However, doesn't seem to work? (Mac version, latest version)
Location zotero saves: users/seb/zotero (standard folder)
Location linked attachments zotero (right now standard path but i also tried a dropbox folder)
Zotfile Source folder for attaching new files:
/Users/seb/Zotero/storage
Location of files: custom Location
/Users/seb/Dropbox/ZoteroPDF
However, nothing happens?
Should you hit a start button somewhere?
Does this work for your already existent library and now added PDFs (via drop/drag or zotero connector)?

Personally, I would recommend using a storage provider that offers WebDAV so that you can use Zotero’s built-in WebDAV sync support, rather than Zotfile.
