Zotero not downloading PDFs from cloud

Got a new PC, installed Zotero, logged in but it does not download PDFs from the cloud. Then I discovered that my filed exceed the free plan space. I upgraded my plan, now only 16% of the space is used but PDFs are still not downloaded. Settings seem to be okay. The problem hasn't resolved with updates and few months of waiting (still downloading them).

Any good recommendations?

  • Upgrading your storage doesn't somehow provide access to files that were never uploaded because you were previously at your quota. You would need to sync on the computer where the files were added, now that you have the storage space to upload them.
