Upgrade StorageGrateful for the ipad app
I'm new to Zotero and still figuring things out, but just wanted to say in particular how much I appreciate being able to highlight pdfs in the ipad app and sync those annotations over to the MacOS app. (It did take me a while to realize I needed to right-click on the Mac entry and select "add notes from annotations".)
Aside from the functionality itself, the ipad app is also a pleasure to use -- a simple but functional interface, responsive and accurate highlighting, etc. I like how there's just a single toolbar across the top of the app, uncluttered by extra floating palettes or tabs or whatnot.
I had been using Zotfile to get pdfs to my ipad, then mark them up in PDF Expert, then sync them back to the Mac. Can't believe I hadn't known about the iPad app before.
The only thing I miss from PDF Expert is their "crop mode" setting. I'm not sure I understand the difference between "fill" and "fit" on the Zotero app, but neither zooms in to let the text itself fill the screen, rather than the page. I can double tap the page to zoom in on the text, but that tends to slide around as I scroll and highlight.
