EBSCO search results and browser plugin error messages
Dear Zotero-Team and Community,
Thank you for your great product, Zotero helped me a lot throughout my studies. Now I have a problem and could need a little help:
For my dissertation, I need to import a large number of papers into Zotero (3 searches with 300-400 results each). Through the university I use the EBSCO web search engine. Whenever I now try to import the search results into Zotero (click the plugin, then Select all, then OK), the plugin shows the same error message (translated from German to English: "An error occurred while trying to save this entry. See Troubleshooting translator for more information."). First I used Brave (a Chrome version), it never worked and then Firefox, it worked once and then the same issue occurred. I work on a Mac, Zotero is installed locally … and I have no idea how else to handle this … importing 1000 papers separately would definitely not be my preference ...
The info behind the link https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues does not help me too much. Or does the information there want to tell me, that mass-downloads or -imports of EBSCO search results to Zotero are simply not possible?
Do you have any idea how I avoid or solve this problem or find a reasonable workaround?
Thank you very much to everybody who will spend her or his time to help me with this ...

Exporting the metadata from EBSCO (as described there for google scholar) should work here, too, though you obviously won't get attached PDFs that way. You can try & see to what extent Zotero is able to get PDFs for downloaded metadata automatically (right-click, Find Available PDF; can be run in bulk)
