Syncing annotated PDF files using zotero ipad app

I used zotero on the iPad to annotate a PDF file. After syncing, the online PDF file attachment is the original file without annotations. Hour to embed the annotations?

    Annotations created in the iOS app currently sync with the Zotero desktop app. They don't yet show up in the web library, but they will very soon.
