First 10 characters of abstract cut off ID: 1076588925

I noticed today whenever I pull in something with an abstract the first 10 characters are cut off. Anyone else noticed that?

you mean get it from a site? Sample URL?

yes, when a site has an abstract; here's an example from SSRN <http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1490113>;

yep, I don't think that's the case for all sites with abstracts across translators, but I can confirm that for the site you link to and a bunch of other SSRN sites I checked out -
so this seems to be a SSRN translator bug.

your right, i just reviewed my day's activity and all of the problem records were associated with SSRN
