RTF scan for source lacking author?

Howdy,

I'm an historian who often works with older newspaper sources. It's not unusual for such sources not to identify an author, which is fine when I've inserted citations myself using the word plugin. The resulting footnote just starts with the article title. But now that I'm trying to use the RTF scan instead of the plugin, I can't figure out how to get the RFT scan to recognize a citation based only on its title and year. Am I missing something? I've tried doing my in-text citations like this:

{"TITLE," YEAR}

No luck with this.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  • I don't think the RTF scan is at a point where you'll be able to do that.
  • If not, one solution might be to identify the author of articles like this as "anonymous," and follow that with the title. The "anonymous" author could signal to the system that it needs to ignore the author and check out the title.
