It shouldn’t really matter. The Zotero translator for Google Scholar uses BibTeX, so you could use that to be consistent.
Note though that Google Scholar metadata tends to be very bad, so if you need good quality data, you are better off clicking through and importing with the Save to Zotero button in your browser toolbar from the publisher webpage.
