Newby question: How to transfer notes to Word

Hi, I found out I can make notes in the Zotero database, attached to a reference. I can even select part of the text in the PDF and add that quote to the note, and it will automatically add the reference. That's fabulous!

However, I write papers in Word, so I would like to copy those bits into a Word document at some point. I have the Zotero plugin. Is there a way to copy (part of a) note into Word such that it will keep all the Zotero references in tact? (Such that I can then easily generate the bibilography, as I usually do using the Zotero plugin?)

Thanks!
  • That's what the new Add Note button in the word processor plugins is for.

  • Ah. Ok thanks hadn't noticed that.
Am I correct to see that it imports alle notes connected to one paper in one go? It would be great if I can select only the bits I want to use. I tried adding three notes and below each of the three I added a quote. But when I select "Note 2" as a test, it still pastes everything in the note-box into the Word paper. (With correct reference links btw so that works nicely).
  • Ah great, thanks. (Moderator forget my previous reply, I found out what I did wrong :-D)
