Is it possible to reduce the size of PDFs created using ZoteroOCR?

I tried ZoteroOCR for the first time today, and it looks awesome. However, creates files that are over 10x the size of the original non-ocr pdfs (ex: 11.8 MB file turned into a 107 MB pdf, 257 MB file turned into a 2GB pdf).

Is it possible to reduce these sizes?
