Upgrade StorageComments in notes disappear

In Zotero for Mac (current version, running on Mac OSX 11.6.7, after I create a note associated with a PDF by using the text highlighting tool, sometimes as I'm adding a related comment (clicked into the add text area, and typed) the text I'm adding just disappears and I have to re-enter it, often repeatedly, in order for the comment to be retained. It might happen on initial entry of the comment, or it might happen if I'm adding text to the comment.
