Copying citations between Word Documents

Hi,

I've been working on two different word documents and I'm trying to copy a section of one document over to the other. The text and citations copy fine - they are highlighted in grey and recognised as citation fields. The problem occurs as soon as I try to make any edits to the citations section, even just adding a new citation as I continue working on the document, as the citations which are copied over immediately revert to a different format (author names and dates in parentheses). Any help would be much appreciated!

  • They'll change to whatever Zotero citation style you've selected in the new document.
