Zotero 6.0.8: Images in notes not syncing properly to web and iPad anymore

When I add an image (either from a selection in a pdf or from a screenshot) to a note in Zotero 6.0.8 on Linux, it doesn't sync properly anymore. On the web and on the iPad the image just occurs as an empty outline. I remember this working perviously (maybe on a previous version, I'm not sure). Does anyone else experience this or know how to fix this?

    Images weren't supported in notes before Zotero 6, and they would generally break syncing altogether if you tried to paste them in. In Zotero 6, images in notes are officially supported, but the web library and iOS still have the old note editor without support for notes. We plan to add the new note editor on those platforms later this year.
